Terms of use

These terms are between you and Company name, trading as Nerdely, based in Sahiwal, Pakistan. You can reach us at hello@nerdely.com or +92 346 7471742. By creating an account or booking lessons, you agree to them.

If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

Keep your sign in details private. You’re responsible for what happens on your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

The details you give us must be accurate, including your child’s level and needs, so we can find the right tutor.

Lessons are 50 minutes and take place live in our online classroom. Your child needs a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection.

Where a free trial lesson is offered, there’s no charge for it.

• 1 lesson, to use within 14 days.
• 4 lessons, to use within 30 days.
• 8 lessons, 5% off, to use within 60 days.
• 16 lessons, 10% off, to use within 90 days.

You pay upfront by card through Stripe, in your local currency where we support it. We show the full price before you pay. The time to use your lessons starts on the day you pay.

Cancel or move a lesson at least 24 hours before it starts and the lesson goes back to your balance. If you cancel later than that, the lesson counts as used, because your tutor kept that time free for you.

If your tutor cancels, the lesson always goes back to your balance. You can move up to 5 lessons a week.

You can ask for a refund of unused lessons from your account while the package is still valid. Once we approve it, the money goes back to your card.

If a lesson didn’t happen as it should, report it within 72 hours. We’ll look into it and, if we agree, refund that lesson to your card.

None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Lessons, messages and homework stay in Nerdely. Please don’t share personal phone numbers, social media or other contact details, and don’t arrange lessons outside the platform.

Be kind and respectful. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Tutors must be approved by our team before they teach. You set your own rate.

We take a fee from each lesson based on your badge: 25% for New, 20% for Rising Talent, 15% for Top Rated and 10% for Elite. If these rates change, we’ll tell you before they apply.

Your earnings for a lesson become available 72 hours after it ends, unless the lesson is under review. If a student cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, you’re paid for the lesson. You can send up to 10 proposals in any 24 hours.

You keep ownership of what you upload, such as homework or teaching materials. You give us permission to store and show it so we can run lessons.

We work hard to match the right tutor, but we can’t promise particular exam results. We aren’t responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken.

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in advance. If you live in the UK, the law of the part of the UK where you live applies, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
